How to Add “X” Instruments on MT

Why do your Forex pairs end with “x”? What Spreads do you use? #

Do also note that we use Think Market’s raw spreads, which have a different instrument directory. 

If you need assistance with rectifying this if this is not the case for you, 

For Meta Trader 4 mobile,  

  1. Press the ‘+’ icon at the top right
  2. Add your instruments there. 

On the Meta Trader 5 mobile:

  • Search for your icons at the top, and be sure to use FX pairs with ‘.i’ at the end or ‘x’ for Think Markets.

On the Desktop, the symbols with suffix ‘x’ are hidden on the default ThinkMarkets MT4 settings. Initially, when you go to ‘File’ > ‘New Chat’, you will see the below options (ignore the “Forex X” folder):

To access the suffix “x” instruments, press CTRL + U to open up the menu, then click “Symbols”. Alternatively, you can hover and right-click anywhere within the dialogue box encompassed by the “Market Watch” section and select “Symbols” from there:

This will give you access to the additional symbols offered by ThinkMarkets! Simply expand the menu, and highlight the symbols you want to add. and click ‘Show’. The symbols will then be added to the ‘New Chart’ option.

Alternatively, please select the Symbol button and select instruments from the Raw folder. Below is an image for reference.
