This works similarly to normal Trailing Drawdown firms, our drawdown updates to break even, then does not move from here. This allows us to offer better prices and conditions such as no time limits on challenges, allowing you to relax, and not feel pressured on any of our challenges!

In contrast to other trailing drawdown firms that utilise a -5% or -6% drawdown strategy, our Smart Drawdown employs a more conservative -10% drawdown threshold. This threshold is maintained until our clients have achieved significant profit, at which point the drawdown level will shift once.

So how does it work?

Smart Drawdown operates in a unique way: once a trader reaches an Equity gain of 5% or more, our system will automatically update their drawdown to the starting balance, and it will remain at this level. This means that traders can continue to trade freely, without worrying about their drawdown percentage increasing beyond the break-even point.

Once your Drawdown has updated to your starting balance it will then never move from here, unless you scale your account. At this point, your drawdown will be updated to your new scaled balance, excluding any profits.

Smart drawdown benefits

We recognised the potential advantages that firms employing a trailing drawdown approach offered to their traders, but we also identified the potential drawbacks. As a result, we developed a new hybrid of the two, specifically for traders. Known as our Smart Drawdown Model.

No Time Limits

By Introducing smart drawdown, we have been able to remove all the time limits on our challenges. Meaning you have all the time you need.

Reduced Costs

By utilising the Smart Drawdown approach, our firm is able to effectively manage risk. Thereby enabling us to offer reduced prices on all Smart Funded Accounts.

Easier Scaling

You can now scale your account every 10% gain you make. Meaning you can scale quicker and reach up to $1.25 Million in funding.

Without your drawdown constantly trailing behind you, you won’t have to worry! You know what your drawdown is going to be, and best of all, it won’t change!

Scale Up To $1,250,000

Scale your account every time you make a 10% gain. Up to $1.25 Million.

When you scale your account, your drawdown will be set at your new scaled balance excluding any profits. 

Remember, you can scale and withdraw your profits simultaneously. We do not use profits to scale on any of our Smart accounts.

Getting Paid
With Smart Drawdown

You can request your first payout after 14 days, provided you have made a 5% gain. You can then request a payout via the dashboard every 7 days. 

Please note when you withdraw your funds, your drawdown will still be locked at starting balance, it then won’t move from here, even if you withdraw.
